Exhibition Street:

In 1880, Stephen St residents insisted that the loss, inconvenience and depreciated property values brought by the street's ill-repute required that the portion from Bourke to Flinders streets be renamed to Normanby St.

The International Exhibition's first official World's Fair in the Southern Hemisphere held that year eventually lent its name to the whole street. However, both Street names were used until Melbourne City Council officially named Exhibition St in December 1898.

Eastern Market on the corner of Bourke and Exhibition Sts was established in late 1841, and in 1877 a beautiful stone structure was erected after 18 months of construction, with power arriving just four years later in 1881.

This Market, nicknamed "The Peoples Market", contained many stalls; one of the significant stalls being the Lavender Flower kiosk – a perfect addition to make the house smell beautiful.

French Lavender & Bergamot:

An enchanting meadow fringed with sprigs of lavender in the Provence countryside with the soothing aroma of lavender, a herbal, earthy lavender with light floral and berry notes.

Top Notes: Bergamot, Lemon
Middle Notes: French Lavender, Rosemary
Base Notes: Amber, Cedarwood
